What I Got For Christmas ~ 2014

Sunday, January 11, 2015

First post of 2015! well it's already 11 days in, so much for my resolution of posting every week...
I was kind of depressed the first half of this week since the holiday season is officially over and it's back to school and reality :( Especially since I have exams coming up in a week, and there's just been so much work, it just made me miss the break even more :( By now I think I've gotten back into the swing of things, so here's a post on what I got for Christmas + New Year's 2014!

I know it's been a while since Christmas but let's just keep the holiday cheer around for a little longer shall we?

My best friend gave me this beautiful set of hand creams from L'occitane en Provence. Their hand creams (and pretty much most other products) are amazingly good quality and smell sooo good! My dad bought some in France a while ago, and my mom and I used that up pretty quick... I think the packaging is just beautiful, and I haven't had the heart to open it up yet to preserve the beauty for a little longer haha :)

I also got this sheer lip stick from Topshop. I think this is holiday packaging because of the little stars on it, but not completely sure... either way it's really pretty and the color is beautiful. Can't wait to use it!
Another very special gift I received were these beautiful charms from Pandora! One is a dangle-y (how do you spell that?) cross with little rhinestones set in it and the other is a cute little apple with a golden stem and leaf.

Something I'd been wanting for a while was a new curling wand! I got this 1.5 inch for Christmas, and my old one was 1 inch. It's really nice for making bigger, loose curls. It's also made me curl my hair 3 times in the past week haha.
These holiday-theme nail polishes from Ciate are really pretty and the christmas sweater print packaging idea is adorable! the polishes inside are different glitter polishes that are perfect for the holidays.

Not sure if this really counts as a gift since I picked it out for myself, but I'll include it here anyways. On Boxing day (canadian version of black friday) even the Korean beauty stores were having amazing sales and I picked up some good deals! I've been eyeing that macaron lip balm for a while now and it is so beautiful I wish I could eat it. Or maybe I don't because I don't want to die, but you get what I mean.
The eye shadows from tony moly were only $2.00 each!! The colors were really pretty. The CC balm was also 50% off and I got the pink/peach nail polish for free. After-Christmas sales are what I live for ♥

Also received boxes of chocolate and gift cards that I didn't get photos of, but I really enjoyed (eating) those too :)
I'm so thankful for all my friends and family that I got to celebrate this holiday season with, and for all the lovely gifts I received.
Thanks for reading , and I hope you all had a great season too!
