Asian Beauty Product Haul - The Face Shop, Etude House, Holika Holika

Friday, September 19, 2014

Hello everyone! Sorry for being so inconsistent with my posting, school's been really crazy, and I guess my time management skills need some work after a lazy summer, lol.
This was sort of a "collective" haul from a few smaller purchases I made in the last few weeks. I had time to go to Pacific mall (this big Asian mall in North Toronto) where they have a bunch of Korean beauty product stores. I always love shopping there, because even though online shopping is easier, nothing beats shopping and browsing in a real store, imo :)

This base and primer are from the Face Shop, and from the "Lovely Me:ex" line. The base is in green, because that's supposed to balance out redness, and the foundation is in shade NB 23, the second lightest shade ( I think there's four or five in total?) Pretty much everything from the lovely me:ex line is super cheap; the base was only $5.00 and the and the foundation was $8.00.

Another two items from Face shop's lovely me:ex line, a brow pencil and eyeliner. Like the two previous, these were also really cheap, $5.00 for the eyebrow pencil and $4.00 for the eyeliner :O The brow pencil also comes in a variety of shades ( I got dark brown) to suit however dark or light you want your brows to be. The eyeliner came in dark brown and black ( I got dark brown) and I think the color looks pretty natural and subtle.

Since I'm almost done with my current toner and moisturizer, I also picked up another duo for when my face shop toner and moisturizer run out. This is from the Holika Holika "bee care" line with propolis and calendula. The bee themed packaging is super cute (the main reason I decided to buy it, lol) and I'm really excited to try this out!
I couldn't find these anywhere online either..

This last item was actually a gift for my friend, sadly, because I wish I could keep it for myself, haha! It's a little eyeshadow duo from Etude House that comes in the cutest little chocolate cupcake tin, also with a pretty cupcake box plastic packaging. I swear, everything from Etude house is so darn cute! The colors inside were a shimmery dark and light brown. I tested it out in the store, and the colors are really nice. I think they also have this duo in a bunch of different shades.
And now my favourite part, the free samples, haha! The Face Shop is super generous with samples, and I'm really excited to try out all those bb and cc cream samples, and the mask from Holika Holika (hello Park Shin Hye lol)

If you're interested in any of the products:
Bee Care moisturizer
Bee Care toner (these 2 seem to have disappeared :O)

Thanks for reading this post, and let me know in the comments the products from this haul that you'd like me to review!
Thanks for reading!
